    hi FAYIQA NAQSHBANDI ma’m
    Okk Ma’m
    I agree with your points.
As AWG works on principle of interferometry. It is widely used as optical multiplexer and optical demultiplexer.
The following links help me to understand the above points , which i am sharing

    Hi shanmuga srinivasan,
I am uploading osd files of 32 and 8 Channels dwdm system with CSRZ modulation formats, DRZ modulation formats, MDRZ modulation formats, for 10 gbps or more in downlink. Channel spacing is 100ghz , you can also change channel spacing and channel frequency as per your applications.

    Hi Jyoti raina

As far as loops are concerned there are few links i am posting that might help u and regarding variation i would suggest u to disable random seed as suggested by all by double clicking on every possible components and you might find a random seed option that u need to uncheck that to disable random seed.

why use loop control in circuit

    Hi all,
in theory, an optical Raman amplifiers (ORA) increases the OSNR of input signals, but my designed ORA reduces OSNR wdm channels greatly.
what should I do to improve my ORA?
    Thanks all

    Hi,

I am trying to implement WDM system with RZ-DQPSK modulation and 40Gbps data rate but i am not getting output at receiver properly.Constellation diagram shows scatterd phases can any one please guide me.

    Hi shanmuga srinivasan,
Here i will osd file of 8 Channel dwdm system with CSRZ modulation formats, DRZ modulation formats, MDRZ modulation formats, for 10 gbps or more in downlink. you can use this ods file for your future works because these modulation formats are very efficient and transmit upto 1000 km and used in long haul comminucation.
here you can increase no. of channel(user) and by using bidirectional fiber and bidirectional AWG you can use for bidirectinal designs.

    HI ZAKARYA,
Here i am uploading 8 channel CSRZ DWDM System, you can use this osd file as your reference and proceed further to design more complex networks.
Here you can vary different parameters namely no. of loops to vary transmission distance, dara rate in global parameters, wdm mux bandwidth, cutoff frequency, type of filters being used and others.

can anyone know why my model do not work?
BER diagram doesn’t show the any pictures.

what is more, the bandwidth of WDM add and drop in samples are set to 10GHz. what it should be ?
and for the insertion loss what values are they?

    HELLO ZAKARYA
For your convenience i have attached an osd file of a basic 16 channel WDM system. You may compare your schematic with this one and check accordingly whether you have to make some necessary to your system implementation or not…I hope it helps you to some extent.
    Thanks and regards

I want to design 8 channel CSRZ WDM-PON using 8*8 AWG for upstream and 1*8 AWG for downstream, but I’m not sure if I’m right or not
I have attached the schematic diagram that I want to do with the osp file. waiting for your suggestion and remarks please

    thanks in advance

    Hi Naazira Badar

Ohhh so u mean i have to go for the WDM transmitter and then modulate it through MachZender Modulat. I believe i have that option only .. I did search for other components but could find any to render such services. I will try this now. Anyways thanks Naazira Badar.

    Hi All

Can anybody please provide me help in this regard in some way out possible. Do u think i should go for the conventional way of using a WDM transmitter and then modulate it with the electrical signal from the MATLAB component, or there is some component like DM laser that can generate an array of signals, comprising of different wavelengths. hope to see a response as soon as possible.please take a look at the .osd file that shows two different ways or suggest me with some other component i can use.

I want to study the effect of power on BER of 10 channel WDM DP-QPSK coherent system. I have used 10 inbuilt DP-QPSK transmitter in the design and 10 BER test sets. To study the effect should i put the power of all the transmitters in sweep mode and then calculate the results or is there any simpler method for this . Kindly give the reply

    hI Burhan..

Well I think you might want to go through the post whose link I’m posting right below :

    ROADM in DWDM network

There both ROADM and COADM have been mentioned. I hope this proves beneficial. All the best.

    Regards.
