    Hi . Thank you for your reply.Sorry about my expression.
    To make it clear, my aim is to design a ring network with amplifiers to identify optical power management issues.
    In my design, eight channels run in the ring network and it is required to use multiplexer and demultiplexer.

    In all,my design maybe wrong. It is required to use multiplexer and demultiplexer in a ring network.Also, it is required to identify power management issues which result from several factors,like wavelength dependent loss in fiber;wavelength dependent gain in amplifiers;channel to channel insertion loss variation in multiplexer and demultiplexer.What the design should be like to realize this function?Please help.

    Can anyone help me to improve my desgin?I want to see the results using BER analyzer . I try to connect the BER analyzer but I am not getting the good results. I am attaching my files kindly check whether they are correct or not or how to improve the design

    I have make some improvements on my design and could you help me to find the problem of this. See my improved vision in the attachment.

    As you mentioned the background information, my aim is to set up a ring network to identify optical power management issues.In this WDM ring network, there are four nodes.In each node, there are two transmitters supply two different frequency signals into the main network. I have no idea of why this system is wrong.Maybe some mistakes in the value of those components.Please help .Thank you so much.

    In optical system parameters, what does α represent ? and what is the relationship between the fiber with α ?

    For more specific information, I want to know how to define the fiber type of a model?SMF or MMF? and what about amplifiers ,transmitters and receivers? these are all need to be taken into consideration when it comes to the practical model. How can I define the parameters? Many thanks for your help.
