    Can I use power combiner in optisystem instead of Pump combiner(purchased from Lightcomm company)? If it is possible to use power combiner what are the parameters which I have to consider?

    Dear Ahmad, I have HI1060 thorlab single mode fiber. In order to incorporate its specifications into optisystem what are the steps i have to perform?
    Also let me know how to define multimode fiber(105um/125um) in optisystem?

    Thank you Ahmad. What is meant by inner clad area in YDFA property? I am using 20/400um double clad fiber from Nufern. Is that area represents pi*r2?

    Dear Ahmad thank you for reply. However I would like to know how to create spectrum file as .dat file. Can you help me to solve this issue? We have 30 user license for optisystem’20.
