Double clad fiber

I would like to use YDFA as double clad fiber. I have some doubt in YDFA properties. Any help will be greatly appreciated. In the YDFA property window
1. Numerical aperture represents core NA or first cladding NA?
2. Core radius and ytterbium doping radius are same?

1. the NA for the core.
2. you may keep the core radius and Yb radius the same or the Yb smaller. you may check the datasheet of different vendors in the market like Coractive, Coherent, etc.

Thank you Ahmad. What is meant by inner clad area in YDFA property? I am using 20/400um double clad fiber from Nufern. Is that area represents pi*r2?

Dear Ahmad, I have HI1060 thorlab single mode fiber. In order to incorporate its specifications into optisystem what are the steps i have to perform?
Also let me know how to define multimode fiber(105um/125um) in optisystem?

Can I use power combiner in optisystem instead of Pump combiner(purchased from Lightcomm company)? If it is possible to use power combiner what are the parameters which I have to consider?
