    You could try temporarily disabling your antivirus, then re-install the evaluation. This method doesn’t have as high of a success rate, though.

    If you are still having issues, please send an email with the steps that you are having issues with, as well as a screenshot of http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html to support[at]optiwave.com.

    Hi Dinesh,

    This is usually a driver issue, or an issue with your antivirus blocking communication with the drivers.

    Are you able to access http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html on this machine? If not, please try the following:
    Re-Installing the HASP Drivers using the command prompt

    1. Disable your antivirus (if possible)
    2. Download the HASP drivers: https://resources.optiwave.com?action=get-download&download=hasp-drivers
    3. Navigate to the folder where the file from the previous step was saved to
    4. While holding the shift key, right-click in the white space beneath the haspdinst.exe file and click the “Open command window here” option from the menu that pops up:
      Open Command Window Here
    5. In the command prompt window, type “haspdinst.exe -kp -fr -purge” (without the quotes) to uninstall the drivers
    6. Once you receive the completed message, type “haspdinst.exe -i” (without the quotes) to install the drivers
    7. Load http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html to verify the drivers were successfully re-installed and are running.

    If you are now able to access http://localhost:1947/_int_/features.html, but are still receiving the same error message, try adding an exception in your firewall to allow hasplms.exe located in C:\Windows\System32.

    Hi Muhammad,

    The 30-day evaluations are locked to the machine that they are installed on, not the machine they are downloaded to. You can download the evaluation on one machine, and install it on another machine. Your 30-day evaluation will be applied during the installation.

    Hi Rangana,

    The 30-day evaluation license is bundled with evaluation installer. The license is applied during the installation process.

    If you are receiving an error message, could you please attach a screen shot?

    After expiry, the software will not be able to run. You will still have access to the files from the Windows File Explorer.

    Hi Muhammad,

    You will have 30 days from the first day that you run the evaluation. Uninstalling and/or reinstalling will not pause the evaluation period.

    Hi Abu,

    Everything is installed during the installation of OptiSystem. If there is any issue, you should receive an error message.

    Please try the following:

    1. Uninstall OptiSystem using the Programs and Features menu
    2. Look inside the folder where OptiSystem was installed and delete the OptiSystem folder, if it still exists
      (The default path is C:\Program Files\Optiwave Software )
    3. Run the installation for OptiSystem again

    Please let me know if you continue to have issues after following these steps. Also, please attach screenshots of any error messages, should you receive any.

    Hi Dhiman,

    We do not offer any of our software packages for macOS. You could however install and run the software on a Windows virtual machine. Note: The evaluation versions of our software cannot be run on a virtual machine or accessed via Remote Desktop(only our paid versions offer this functionality).
