      Hi every one !
      Hope u r fine !

I am working on a project in which i have to find BER. i m attaching the file below.

Problem is that when i sweep optical fiber distance from 0.5 to 3 km then BER analyzer do not show any graph for all values except 3Km.

I am not getting Y this happening ?? (i.e Y BER analyzer not showing graph for all sweep values)

I have also done sweep between 3 to 5 km, the same behaviour happens except this time i got min BER graph from BER analyzer for just two instances i.e 3 km and 3.444 km.

if anyone know Y this happens ? and Y BER analyzer is behaving like that plz share, it wil be useful for all.

I wil be very thak ful u.

      Best Regards

Are you using bidirectional fibers? Can you also attach the scheme you are using?

Ravil have u any info hw to solve this problem, as stated in below topic link…….

How to Enhance Resolution of measured values in "RF Spectrum Analyzer"

i.e hw can i see side bands in Rf spectrum analyser, as i have 3 bands in optical spectrum analyzer but rf spectrum analyzer shows only one ??

kindly go through this above link and share ur knowlegde if u know how to solve this problem.

      Regards

I think the main problem is with the filters. Switching the last filter for a 1 GHz cutoff (your bit rate is at 0.768 GHz) I got a better eye diagram.

      +1
