      Matlab Cosimulation

my question is how to download the .m file or .osd file in this tutorial because it seem weird if you can’t download the tutorial to try out yourself (they didn’t even show the .m script).

      thank you

      Hello Theerapat.

You need to go through the optisystem sample files. You will get the required osd files there only for different designs. Try going through those it surely will be of help.

      Thanks & regards
      Remo

        Hello Remo Desuza,
I agree to your point. There are no of useful examples in the optisystem sample folders. It is very convenient to simulate those and get an idea about your own doings in future. Great help indeed.

        Thanks

      Hi Theerapat Yokapajorn,
You can use samples files of optisystem software easily.
Because these files are already in Documents folder of your computer if you are using optisystem 13.0 or 14.0
In case of optisystem 7.0 samples files are contained in C drive in optisystem folder .
So, there is no need to download these samples files.

      Hope you will understand,

      Thanks and regards
      Rajguru

        Hello Shafeen,
I would have liked to share it with you but the size of the folder is too huge. If you will be having the licensed package, you will be asked during installation to about the optisystem sample files. Anyways i hope you find a way.

        Regards

      Hi all,

I’m sorry for being late, I just notice all my notifications email from optiwave are in junk mail. Anyway, thank you all so much I found the .osd and .m files in the sample folder now

But I opened the Matlab BER Analyzer.osd and click calculate, there is a error say “Error loading Matlab engine” I tried multiple times even if I open Matlab while Optisys calculating it still error. Any suggestion?

PS. I search on the forum there is 1 topic about this “error loading matlab engine” but there’s no solution there.

      Regards
      Theerapat
