Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

Dear all
I want to introduce an ambient light noise(Fluorescent/Incandescent light) into an Indoor free space channel but Iam having challenges in where to inject this noise. More so in the FSO component there is no provision to insert these equivalent value. Kindly can someone help me out of this situation.
Thanks
Yahaya Idriss
Hi Yahaya,
Are you using just an Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) model in your scheme? If I am not mistaken, there should be an option to add this noise at the receiver. Can you, please, upload the screen shot of the scheme that you are modeling or just give a reference to a paper that you are using for your project?
Hello Yahaya
I am agree with Ravil,if you want to add AWGN then you can add it at receiver side as Ravil said.Discussion on similar topic had been discussed.I have given the links, check these
Dear Ravil and Sam Sung
Thank you all for the Information. I am Sorry I was offline for sometime. I will visit the links.
I am grateful
Thanks
Yahaya Idriss
Welcome yahaya idriss
Its my pleasure to help you and all the forum participents, sharing of knowledge is a important part.Best of luck and keep participatimg. In future if you will have any queryshare with us.Me Ravil and other participats also help you
You are welcome, Yahaya! As a forum member, I am always glad to share my thoughts with you, whenever I can. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask them. Good luck with your work and research!
