    Hi everyone
I have used the Opti system program for designing 16 channel WDM. Also, at the transmitter after the bit is generated, the electrical pulse is multiplied with a sine generator, the frequency of the sine generator should be changed from 2 to 32 GHz how can I change the frequency of the sine generator from 2 to 32 GHz inside subsystem because the BER analyzer display incorrect result due to sine generator.

    can you help me, please
    with regards

    Dear Sanjiv,
You need to set the desired number of sensors of the WDM FBG Sensor Interrogator to the proper value to be able to view them. You can access this parameter in the Sensing tab of the component properties window, which can be accessed by right clicking on the component.
    Regards,
    Ahmad

I am faching problem in my WDM FBG sensor model. I arraged 10 FBG uniform sensors and study the temprature and strain effect on reflected wavelentgh spectrum. But interogator only shown maximum five reflected wavelengths. I also changes the number of sensors option of interogetor but still display five wavelengths.where i am worng i dont know. please help me how to incerase reflected wavelength range in ‘WDM FBG sensor interogater’?

    Dear Sir,
in the FDTD programming, I have faced a problem if i am giving input at a particular wavelength (1.5 micrometers) I got one output transmission line. how can I get more transmission lines at a particular wavelength? So that i have designed a filter.

    hello every one….
my design is 8 channel WDM-Dp-CO-OFDM-16QAM system .each channel with 100Gbps and symbol rate 12.5 Gsymbol/sec.
I use new OFDM block (OS13) that compensate dispersion digitally. mux/dmux parameters ( channel spacing 50Ghz, Bandwidth 25Ghz ,and first frequency is 192.95Thz). my problem is only center channel (channel 4) have acceptable BER , but the other have worst BER, also i have high OSNR after DMUX( i think its not real).
so please have any support or guidance.
    i will attach my design…

    Hello,
I am student working on my project and I need your help in my THz optical system designing.
I want to design an optical system generates a submillimeter wave over FSO wireless channel using WDMA technique transmission system.
can a professional please tell me if there are any Opti-version package optimized for sub-mm wavelength transmission system ? if not, then what the software type should I used ?
note: I’ve been searching about this topic and found a new version helps who are working in IoT and 5G (for millimeter wave) field called “Opti system V18”, could it be suitable for my designing ?
I would appreciate if you please help me

    Hello Hanan,
The Lasers’ wavelength and WDM MUX/DEMUX have to match. The BW is related to the user modulated signal bandwidth, which you need to consider in the MUX/DEMUX bandwidth.
Please refer to the examples on OCDMA in the Example library located at the following location.

    Hello Nada,
you need to use the ideal dispersion compensation FBG for fiber dispersion compensation in the WDM system. The Fiber Bragg Grating allows you to design filters and possible dispersion compensation FBG if you use the proper design parameters.

Hello,i need answers for my questions.
I have 1D OCDMA code. I assigned the wavelengths for each user. I have four users, and i use WDM.
I should assign the wavelengths to CW Laser? Or for WDM?
And for example if user1 have lambda1,lamda8
    And user2 have lamda2,lambda7
What the meaning of it ?
Did it mean that if i use 1550nm and channel BW 0.6 nm the user1 have 1550,1555.2
    And user2 1550.6,1554.6
And so on for other users.
And i have other question, please an one help me?
    Thanks in advance
