| Step | Action |
| 1 | Click Run button in the Simulate 3D Using 64bit Simulator dialog box. 64bit simulation will start.
Note: non-uniform mesh does not support 32bit simulation. |
| 2 | After the simulation, open the results in OptiFDTD analyzer. |
| 3 | Select Observation Area Analysis under Tools menu of OptiFDTDÂ analyzer. Observation area analysis dialog box appears. |
| 4 | Select Observation Area tab, then Click Power Spectrum button. Power Spectrum dialog box appears. |
| 5 | Select Normalize with InputPlane1, and select total power Pz. |
| 6 | Click Calculate, Power transmission spectrum appears (refer to Figure 3) |
