Dear all,,hope you all will be fine

Please let me know how to use polarization beam splitters/polarization combiners etc in simulation? Please refer me towards any literature/help at this topic at optiwave forums
      regards

      Dear Muhammad,
please refer to OptiSystem example library at the following link for examples on polarization related components.

      Dear Sir Dr Ahmad
I am obliged for early response. One thing need to be cleared, just like transmission of two polarization states (x and y) in fiber where PMD occurs, is there any PMD exists at Free space optics channels?I think it should not exist but if exist, then optisystem 16 consider this effect?
      regards

      dear Muhammad,
There are few papers that talks about PMD in FSO. However, I don’t think these papers have good merits as there is no experimental verification. I think it would be an excellent research topic specially for high data rates beyond 10Gbauds.
      Regards,
      Ahmad
