i start create a sample of destructive interference, now you can see screen shot of it??

when i set phase shift to 0 or 180 deg we have same result power ???
why destructive interference not work in optisystem??
this link is optisystem file simulation

The X Coupler component introduces its own phase shift, look at the model description in the Help file. If you set the Phase Shift component to -90 degrees you will get the destructive interference. The X Coupler also introduces -90 degrees.

thanks very much if you set coupler to conjugate by changing phase shift to -90, it runs destructive interference in optisystem.
if you set coupler to no conjugate with 90 degree it run destructive interference…
