Hello …. I have a question about mitigating the nonlinear effects in a coherent WDM system … and should one receiver with DSP be used at each receiving channel or can we use DSP for all channels.
Dear Abdalnaser,
You need a DSP for each wavelength after the DEMUX. There you can mitigate the dispersion and nonlinearity for that channel.
