Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

hello guys.
have anyone try to do the design of the WDM GPON?Im stuck. Is there anything i can refer to?
Yes Abdul i have worked on WDM GPON.What is the problem you are having in system?
Hi Abdul-baqi, Since it seems you are new to the concept and since you have asked for a reference, I would suggest first having a look at a paper named “A Framework on Passive Optical Networks: GPON and next generation WDM PON” by “Kalta”, which provides useful basic information on the concept and help you get started.
I think this system would be the answers to your all the question.
https://optiwave.com/download-1/wdm-pon/
Please try to find the other topics regarding WDM-PON on this forum.Basic ideas as well as system files are also there.
Thank you. It was definitely precise, right to the point and well qualified as the best answer here. However, can you please explain the difference between the PON and GPON? Or I’d better say what type of PON systems are GPONs? Thanks.
Thank you Dear.
G here refers to Gigabit PON.The difference here is Data rate ,distance and no. of users suggested by ITU.Passive optical networks(PON) is a basic terms to refer these system as Splitter used in these all systems not consumes power for spliting users..
thank you everyone. you guys help a lot
Welcome abdul baqi, glad to help forum members.if you will have any issue and information ,share with us and try to help otjer forum members.Best of luck for the research and have a good experience with optiwave.
