I want to model a Long Period Grating/Bragg Grating in a Photonic Crystal Fiber. I want to know the propagated modes in the PCF and the efficiency of the grating. Which component is the best, OptiGrating, OptiFiber or OptiFDTD?

Thanks in advance

Since you are investigating a photonic crystal fiber you will have to use our finite difference time domain tool (OptiFDTD). OptiFiber and OptiGrating are great tools for simulating radially symmetric fibers, but wouldn’t be able to work with PC structures.
