Submarine optic cables simulation

Hi everyone I have fiber optic link that I want to simulate. But the problem is my link used for undersea. Is it allright if I used optisystem to simulate my link? I just thought that the submarine cables is different with any terrestrial cables. I’m using ITU-T G.655 for the cables. Can you help me to make the simulation? I’ll upload my configuration. thanks
