Hello
I have a question about optiFDTD.
I am following lesson 15 (simulation on 3D surface plasmon based layout) of the manual.
STEP 6 of “define simulation parameters” in lesson 15, There is a field for entering “spectrum” in DFT options.
But i do not see the button. (“spectrum”)
It would be much appreciated if you could make any suggestion.
Hello Hyeong-Min Kim,
Would you be able to tell me what version of OptiFDTD you are using? From the screen capture you posted it looks like you are using either an old version or perhaps the 32-bit evaluation version.

Hi Hyeong-Min,
I assume the step 6 you are talking about is the following:
– “… Repeat step 3 to 4 for Observationline2, reflection spectrum can be calculated, (refer to Figure 9).”.
Being this the case, I think the reflection spectrum is referring to the Observation Line window when on the Analyzer. If you look at https://optiwave.com/optifdtd-manuals/fdtd-enhancement/ on “Performing data analysis” there is a description on how to do it.
Best regards.
