I want to simulate UDWDM with 10 GHz channel spacing, but it doesn’t work. It only works with 100 GHz. What would be the problem?
Thank you
Hello Jimmy,
you need to check the setting of the filters in MUX and DEMUX and make sure that they have proper bandwidth. You must be careful while setting all parameters of the components.

Ahmad
Hi Ahmad, thank you very much for your attention.
I have configured the AB of both MUX and DEMUX with 10Ghz, the separation between channels as well. But the mistake persists. I attach screenshots
thanks for your help
Jimmy
Hello Jimmy,
the main issue is the bandwidth of the modulated signal, which is interfering with neighboring channels. You could use MUX/DEMUX bandwidth of 5GHz to avoid interference. However, you’ll get channel distortion. A balance between both detrimental effects must be found.
if you need to discuss further, please contact me at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com.
