I want to simulate a best parameter in EDFA. But every time after I set the result parameters, when optimization is running, the result parameters setup has changed auto. I don’t know why.

Best appreciate to you.
There are two related question about my optisystem file in Version optisystem 15.
The first file title ‘laserall(1)’ is the simulation which i want to study form this link ‘https://cdn.optiwave.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/OptiSystem-Training-Optimization.pdf%E2%80%9D%3E%3C/a&gt’
But i can’t change the optimization parameter properly.

The second file titled ‘ASE source’ is that i want to construct a ASE source with 40nm bandwidth and 1dB flatten rate. But the optimization result for Max/min noise ratio is 0, at the same time, all the result from WDM analyser is 0.

Dear Yibin,
you can’t load OptiSystem projects to the forum. You could email them to me as zip files only.
What is the license number of OptiSystem version 15 that you use? What is the name of your institution ?
Regards,
Ahmad
