I was trying to find out reflectance and transmittance of light in visible range incident on an object. For theta = 0, R + T = 1 was obtained. But for other cases, at various wavelengths, R + T \neq 1. I do not know why it is happening. How to rectify it?
I attached plots of (R, T, R+T) versus wavelengths at four angles of incidence.

      Hello Sumeet,

It should certainly be 1, though there are a number of possible situations in which your design may be giving you these results. Is it possible for you to attach your design for me to take a look (you may need to include it in a zip file)?

      Scott
