I’m new to Optiwave, so this may be an obvious question.
For my first project, I’m interested in doing something very similar to the set-up shown in Figure 1 of the “<a href=”https://optiwave.com/resources/applications-resources/optical-system-effects-of-group-velocity-dispersion-gvd-on-gaussian-pulse-propagation/” title=” Effects of Group Velocity Dispersion (GVD) on Gaussian Pulse Propagation”></a>. Is there anywhere that I can find that schematic to modify for my project?

You can find the example file in the OptiSystem Samples folder, found in your documents, under the sub folder Fiber Analysis and Design. There are a couple different examples there, but the one you are interested in is:
GVD Gaussian pulse propagation.osd

Thank you for your reply, Damian. I found the example file.
The problem was that I hadn’t realized that the samples were a separate installation from the program. Once I installed them, I found the file just where you indicated.
