I would like to simulate Raman amplification with ROPA, but not sure how. I’ve tried using Er Doped Fiber components without success. Any pointers?
Hi Tim,
You could set up a scheme where an Er Doped Fiber is pumped by a laser that is first propagated through the Optical Fiber component (modelling the transmission of pump power from a remote location). What happened when you tried the Er Doped fiber?
