How we can measure the Q factor in the given example of 112Gb/s DP-16QAM coherent optical system as there is no BER analyzer in the system. In the results of Constellation diagram there is a term ” Q factor from estimated symbol”.What does it mean .Whether it is same as Q factor that we get from BER analyzer or something different. Kindly give reply
