Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

I go step-by-step the Chapter-17th of tutorial pdf file(attached below) to design a PCF with the same parameters in optiFDTD, but finally the resault is not the same (can not find any mode). What is the problem?
Please attach your FDTD designer file.
Dear Marek,
Here is my layout.
and its Refractive index distribution
Hi, you refer to OptiFDTD version 8.0 which was released in 2009.
The tutorials available online and in our current products have been updated. Please use a more recent version of the software, for example our free 32-bit OptiFDTD:
Dear Duval,
As you said I used newer version of optiFDTD, for example free 32-bit or free 30-days v12.00 optiFDTD.All is ok by designing PCF structure and exporting refractive index exporting, but the problem is when I go to Mode analysis! There is no mode-solver tools with them. By the optiFDTD 8.0, there is a 3D mode solver (as tutorial refered) and I load my refractive index distribution file there, but there is not such a tool with optiFDTD-32 or v.12! may you guide me?
The 3D Mode Solver was expanded and made into its own application now called OptiMode. You should be able to find the OptiMode designer in your OptiFDTD installation folder.
