Dear Staff at Optiwave,
This is Chuan Zhong from Seagate Technology, I am searching for a simulation tool to do optical waveguide design simulations. just wonder could you give me a brief introduction of how does OptiFDTD support the parallel computing? do I need multiple licences to run jobs in clusters if my simulation had been distributed in a few hosts, thank you so much.

Hello Chuan,
Our cluster support is through the MPI platform within the Linux environment. You have a license for the windows version of the product where you do your design work and then export the simulation design for the Linux simulation (an add-on to your license) which then drives the cluster calculations.
