Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.
I need your help please.
I have an optisystem simulation with 4 FBGs each configurated with a strain value with optigating, then imported into optisystem 7.
However, at the reception, the photodetector does not detect any signal.
I have attached the simulation file and the four FBGs configuration files obtained with optigrating.
Unfortunately we don’t support OptiSystem 7. However, you may download a 30-days free trial of OptiSystem 17 from Optiwave’s website (https://optiwave.com/members/akatieh/evaluation-license-downloads/). If you did download it already, you need to use another computer to download it again.
I am not sure what could be the problem. You need to email me your project as a zip file to firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll check it out and provide feedback. Meanwhile, you need to make sure that you have version 17 because my response will be using this version and you’ll not be able to open it using version 7.
Thank you Sir for your response. I have send you an email with my simulation file done with optisystem 17.0.
I’ll check it in the next couple of days and get back to you.
