In the help file of Optical dual-polarization QPSK transmitter,the equivalent layout is the dual-polarization QPSK receiver and not the tx.
and the words above it,You wrote “…then combined using a polarization beam splitter (PBS).”I think this is the function of beam combiner.
For future versions,check this issue.
