Hi every one
That’s my honor to receive your helping about my problem, especially, all of you had very well knowledge about optical network system. At present, im doing my thesis about Analysis of performances of (NG-PON2) for FTTH systems: Performance on single channel transmission. I based on attached documentBut they using VPI and i cant use and buy this software. Im trying work with Optisystem 7 and download some of your .osd in this topic: https://optiwave.com/forums/topic/twdm-pon/
Could you please kindly suggest me a Twdm POn osd file same my document
And how can i show this diagram by using optisystem 7

hi nguyan hai ha,
i am attaching the all sample pon—realted .osd files from my optisytem 14 ….but i think it will only help you if you are using optisystem 14…because optisytem is not forward compatible.

i think she needs to NGPON2 archtecture ,which makes the useof optical time division wavelength multiplexing..

Hi aabid and aasif, thank for your comment as i said i try to do analyse Performance on single channel transmission of ng pon2 with some impairment: antenuation, Cd, non linear,…base on my attached file, in my attached file, they use 40gb upstream( 4 pair wavelenght 10gbps) and 10gb downstreem. But i still want to build a TWDM 10gbps upstream(4×2.5gbps) and 2.5 gbps downstream, in addition, i dont know how to use optisystem to show diagram same figure 27 in my attached file.

Hi hi nguyan hai ha,
I am uploading different networks design of wdm system with different advanced modulation formats, advanced modulation formats like CSRZ, DRZ and MDRRZ are spectrially efficient and require less power and also used could transmit upto even longer distance.
You can change different parameters like laser power, fiber loops, global data rate , channel spacing and other parameters to see variations in BER and Q-factor and design as per your choice.
Hope this will help you.
We know the latest version is hybrid of TDM and WDM system .
so, i think this to share . -

hi,
yes you can definitelly optain such graph in optisytem.. kindly follow the steps below;;;
1.first fix the CW laser power to 3dBm.
2.provide the sweep to length of the fiber and enter the values for the length as 0,20,40,60,80,100 (this means no. of iterations is 6).
3. after simulation of your design,,,open the report of simulation…obtain the opti2Dgraph of BER vs the your sweepsi.e length….this will be the graph at txpower 3dBm….
4. Export this graph (in pairwise ) in the text form,,,name it say BER@3dbm..now change the tx.power and repeat the steps 2-4…
now you can use these text files, to form the graph in excel…

and how to plot graph in optisytem or opti 2Dgraph????solution are provided in the linkss

Hi aasif, unmer and others kind guys, im so appreciate with your help, it very closed my deadline thesis, but i still only have a litle experience with GPON design. With diagram i know how to show I wil try your guide and let you know soon. But Do you have a TWDM osd same my attach file with 4×2.5gbps upstream and 2.5 upstream and can run by optisystem 7? Sorry for my foolish.

Yeah, i am using optisystem version 14.
Okk , i will try to improve the system and will re upload the osd file using optisystem version 13.
I don’t think it has to do with the types of version, but i will see. -

Hi hi nguyan hai ha,
We couldn’t design hybrid TDM – WDM PON using optisystem 7.0.
You should upgrade your optisystem software version either 13.0 or 14.0.
Because previous version lacks some components.
In NGPON2 You can also use OFDM-WDM PON, Why are you to use hybrid TDM – WDM PON ?
