Why are we getting negative noise figure for EDFA in optisystem? I am cascading EDFA and TDFA to design a hybrid optical amplifier. The gain characteristics are good but we are getting negative noise figure. Can you explain why?
Some papers it is written that effective noise figure can be negative.
