Hi.
I have a doubt, I am trying to perform a mux / demux with Mach Zehnder interferometers, but in the optsystem interferometer you can only change the Delay and coupling coefficient parameters, I would like to know if you could help me by saying how these parameters are related to obtain the multiplexing and demultiplexing of signals for a 4×1 mux / demux. Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Dear Jonathan,
Please refer to the example (Mach Zehnder Interferometer.osd) at the following location for guidance. The theory of the Mach Zehnder Interferometer component is described in the datasheet that can be accessed from the Help button in the component properties popup window.
