I am using Optisystem version 18. I have combined two transmitters each running at ‘R’ Gbps. The input signal now to the receiver is at ‘2R’ Gbps. According to the scheme, at the transmitting end, the global parameters Bit Rate should be set at ‘R’ Gbps for min BER zero and at the receiving end, the global parameters Bit Rate should be set at ‘2R’ Gbps. So, if we keep global bit rate ‘R’ Gbps, the universal DSP component at the receiver side is running at Global parameter ‘R’ Gbps instead of ‘2R’ Gbps. There is no synchronization between transmitter and receiver bit rate parameters. Please help me in this regard.
Dear Dr Anupam,
how did you combine the two data rates to create 2R? This will help me answer your question.
You may email me at ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com.
What version of OptiSystem are you using?
Regards,
Ahmad
