Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

How to import file .m3a to MATLAB ?
The best way would be to export the complex field into a .f3d file from the OptiMode Analyzer and importing that data file into Matlab using the Matlab code I posted here a while back.
It cannot be imported, as well as .f3d file.
.f3d
Oh this is my mistake! Looks like I forgot a file in the upload, I’ll fix that now. If you know the type of file that you have you could just comment out that line and hard code it to use the file type you have. Check that post again in a few minutes I’ll update it.
For .f3d file, it works very well, Thank you very much, but for .m3a file, what is its file type?
