The ridge is considered as two layers,and the upper layer’s width is 4 micron,height is 2 micron, bottom layer’s width is 20 micron, height is 8 micron. How to set the ridge in OptiBPM? I want to know how light beam propagate in the ridge, but not just the modal distribution and modal index. And I choose gaussian as the source because I want to know how gaussian distrbution change into modal distribution. Can anybody tell me how to draw the layout and profile of the ridge?
The file is another modal, a fiber coupling to a ridge, then coupling to another fiber. Can anybody tell me what I set is right?
