i found that there are only 2 types of line coding, either NRZ or RZ. i wish to use AMI. anyone know how to do it?
You can found AMI related examples in optisystem versions 12,13.
Hi Chee, what version are you using?
i am using version 7.0.
i tried version 12. and i build a similar system according to the example. all is working fine until after Mach-Zehnder modulator. my signal seems to be lost after that modulator. do anyone know what happened? i uploaded my work which is AMI trial and the example which is AMI example.

The reason is due to modulator settings.After modulator, time domain visualizer is showing constant line.So voltage settings of Mach Zehnder modulator has to be adjusted.
Put the setting as given “AMI-example”,you will get output.
thanks siva. the modulator now do have an output but is in unipolar. how can i restore it to the original bipolar signal?
