Hi
Any one can help me how to convert the optical signal into binary signal in optisystem
Thanks
This is a general concept.
optical signal in the optical domain while the binary signal in the electrical domain.
At least, you need a photodiode with an amplifier.
Hi Numan,
How about first converting from optical to electrical and then electrical to binary the way I have suggested in the following post in another topic:
Please see if this works.
Regards
Thank u so much Alistu.
Hello Numan,
I agree with both members, and would like to add/elaborate from myself that it is important what type signal (doamin) do you have in the beginning. If you are working with optical digital system, then you are in time domain. On the other hand, if you work with analog system that is built by frequency(wavelength)-multiplexed channels, you are in frequency domain. The conversion algorithm is provided in a link provided by Alistu.
I understand Your point.
Thanks Ravil
