Hi,
I was trying to simulate generating petal beams by combining 2 LG modes and vortex phase plates.
I should be able to generate donut beams using a LG00 Mode beam and passing it through the vortex plate, but I still get a regular Gaussian beam power profile in the spatial visualizer.
The Phase looks correct, but if there’s a phase singularity in the origin, shouldn’t there be no power there as well?
I can create donut beams using LG01 and no Vortex phase plate, but when combining, the output power profile is still incorrect.
Thanks,
Watson
Dear Watson,
could you please email me the project as a zip file to ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com and let me know the version of OptiSystem that you use?
Regards,
Ahmad
