Can you please explain me the modelling behind FSO link (OPTISYSTEM) ?? I am dealing with 7 WDM input through FSO link ,then how 7 different transmitted signals will propogate through the FSO channel ??
Hi Deepanshu
You can check the optisystem documents.Go to FSO component in >free space library>double click>help
And if you are using WDM system over FSO then your different signal travel over different wavelengths and receive at the specific wavelength.
Hi Deepanshu,
There are two example of free space optic (FSO) system in OptiSystem. It is in chapter Optical System tutorials. Just follow Home » Resources » Applications » Free Space Optics (FSO) or you may just use a following link: https://optiwave.com/resources/applications-resources/optical-system-free-space-optics-fso/. I am not sure what exactly you are trying to optimize, but the key point is filtering: it should be optimum in terms of transfer function and you should always match the bit rate with the cut-off frequency.
