Hi,
I want to simulate a FBG based Fabry-Perot cavity in the Optisystem. As a starting point, I am using bidirectional reflectors and a CW laser. When I sweep the laser frequency, I do not see classical transmission peaks. I have calculated Finesse and FSR and I believe that my sweeping range (1549.9-1550.1nm) and step size (1000) are correct to see transmission peaks. Any help would be highly appreciated. See the attached model (with less steps to reduce the size).
Best Regards,
Imran
The OSD model was not permitted. I am attaching the screenshot of the model.
Hello Imran,
there will be an example on this laser, which is recently added to the Example Library of the next release 17.1 which will be available mid Aug. you need to install 17.1 to be able to open it.
you may send your project as a zip file to ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com to check it and provide feedback.
Regards,
Ahmad
