I am trying to simulate a circuit, but I have problem and the simulation does not finish.
The error says:
“CIDF Schedule: error occured while calculating, component Erbium Doped MM Fiber
Error in Erbium Doped MM Fiber: Parameterized signal at input port.
Calculation failed!”Help me, please. What can I do in this case?

which version of OptiSystem you are using?
I built it on Optisystem15.
so you can open it for the same or newer version.

try to combine pump laser with another CW laser using combiner then connect the output of the combiner to the fiber.

there is a built-in example similar to this project titled “MM EDFA ExampleAllModesEquallyExcited.osd”
try to open it !! -

Have you tried it? it similar to what you need. then you can delete the CW Laser and the pump coupler.
