Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

How can I generate a Differential quaternary phase shift keying(DQPSK) signnal of 40 GHz. please help.
Hi Dhiman,
Are you seeking something other than using the Optisystem DPSK component, setting bits per symbol as “2” in the component properties (to make it DQPSK), and setting the frequency as 4 0GHz? (I assume you need this for the system you introduced in the local oscillator topic)
Regards
Hello alistu can u pls guide me if i can use DPQSK modulation format for WDM system in optisystem. If yes how do we do that. pls help.
Hi Gaganpreet,
You can use DQPSK as I have depicted in the above comment. For a WDM system, you would use DQPSK for each channel and the rest is what you have to do as every WDM system set up (which is assigning frequencies with a defined spacing to the WDM channels). If you are working on a paper, please attach it if it’s possible.
Regards
Thanks a lot Alistu. Hope for more help in future.
Thank you so much alistu . ur suggestion surely helped me, though i have not yet executed the system . i am currently working on DWDM systems i am using hybrid amplifiers.Use of DPQSK interested me but i am not yet searched for associated research publications, as soon as i do i will be glad to share it, Thanks.
