      Hello Maria,
      Currently, OptiSystem doesn’t have a diffraction grating component. We are considering developing a component in the next release.

      Thank you! Can I made a diffraction grating in Optiwave FDTD and use in OptiSystem?

      Hello Maria,
      Currently, OptiSystem doesn’t have an FDTD component. However, you may design it in OptiFDTD then load it to OptiSPICE using S-parameters then to OptiSystem. I am not certain that this process would work (never tried!) However, we’ll have a diffraction grating component in the next release OptiSystem 17.0.
