  I would like to design a tapered fiber profile in optifiber. How can I do this?
  OR is it possible to transfer a design made in optibpm to optifiber?

  OptiFiber cannot simulate fibre tapers. You must use OptiBPM.

  I don’t simulate tapered fiber. I will calculate the effective refractive index of a tapered structure.
  My problem is to draw tapered fiber profile.

  OptiFiber does not have any features for tapered fibres, no feature for drawing. OptiBPM can draw tapered fibres.
