How to make a coherent optical receiver having 2 input ports and 1 output ports. The modulation technique use in the paper is QAM.
Hi Dhiman,Mai i know for which scheme you are using coherent detection.If you are using the qam only the there is qam demodulator after photo detectors which gives you one output.If you are using QAM for example as in OFDM then you can get the idea from optisystem ofdm samples

Again this is the case I have explained earlier in your post “photodiode”, in the link below:
In case you are using 4-QAM, then you have two inputs to your QAM demodulator (or 4-QAM), whereas in the image you have attached there is only one output port to your coherent optical receiver, which enters QADM.
