Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

When I tried to replace the two PRBS generator with a single PRBS generator and a Serial to parallel converter inorder to make two data streams, the system is not giving good BER. The system I am trying to modify is present in the CO-OFDM examples provided by optisystem. The modified file is enclosed here.
original example is also enclosed here
Hi Nithin,
I do not understand why do you use S/P converter after PRBS. if you would like to transmit the same data, you can use fork instead of S/P converter.
Your design did not work because
1- the input of the QAM sequence generator have to be in serial (not in parallel like what you have in your design)
2- as far as I know, when you use the S/P converter you are not copy the data to two OFDM system. S/P will divide the data to two output (for example the PRBS generate 101110100101 so the output of the S/P will be:
output 1====> 111100
output 2====> 010011
kind regards
mohamed
agree with mohamed .. rightly said
Dear friends,
What i need is not the replica of bit streams.The system is polarization division multiplexed CO-OFDM. My aim is to design a system consisting of only one PRBS generator. The bit stream produced by PRBS is divided into two streams and each of the OFDM system working in two different polarization should use these bitstreams. They are combined back at the receiver.
