What we understand by minimum graph, eye diagram and optical spectrum of input signals ? i mean what says these graph and diagram. I have attached these.
Dear Sharma, using eye diagram we can visualize the quality of a serial bit stream by laying the number of bits on a top of each other. In your diagram you can estimate the amount of noise at the “0” and “1” levels as well as the amount of jitter. Your min BER graph corresponds to your eye diagram opening. Optical spectrum analyzer shows how many signals you have (number of peaks), what are their power levels and the levels of noise.
