Different ways to improve Eye diagram. They are:
Reduce global bit rate
reduce transmission distance– reduce length of fiber
use dispersion compensation techniques namely pre, post and symmetrical dispersion compensation techniques.
use appropriate filter order and increase its bandwidth
increase laser power in dbm
use appropriate amplifier according to band of operations.
