Since the modified 4-end file worked well unlike the 8-user file FILE-21.osd, I think the aforementioned ripples and spikes would not be there just if the simulation is done with a longer bit sequence, although it may not be necessary and in some cases it may give the right figure (without ripples). This is merely my experience.
