Hi qureshi,thank you for attaching file ,i will get back to you by analyzing it.as far as filter bandwidth is concerned ,try to set it twice the bit rate you are using.Use of edfa as booster or post amolifier will increase your system performance but it would be better if you calculate what gain amplification you need.for example if your fiber length is 10 km with attenution 0.2 db/km then edfa gain would be 2 dB / km.however you can increase it but more gain may cause noise and effect your system.
