User Defined Non-Uniform Mesh

Compatibility:

Step Action
1 Open the layout we just designed or open the layout named “X64_Sample59_SilverParticle_User_Uniform_Mesh.FDT” in the simple folder.
2 Open the Nonuniform Mesh Parameters dialog box.
3 Click X-Direction tab, and select Load From a File.
4 Click Browse to locate the x-direction mesh file named “Sample59_x_direction_ mesh.txt” in the 64 bit sample folder. You can also open this file by any text editor to check the grid coordinator value.
5 Click Y-Direction tab, and select Load From a File, Click Browse to locate the y-direction mesh file named “Sample59_y_direction_ mesh.txt” in the 64 bit sample folder.
6 Click OK button in nonuniform dialog box and 3D simulation parameters dialog box to make the settings function.
7 Open the simulation dialog box again, the minimum memory requirement is listed as 38.34M bytes.
8 Run the 64bit simulation.
9 After the simulation the power transmission spectrum can be obtained. (refer to Figure 4)
