Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

Greetings!!!
Is it possible to extract the entire sweep data into an excel sheet instead of copying each iteration from Optisystem 17?
Hello,
In OptiSystem version 17.1, you should be able to save the results of any component that offers results (when select the desired result in the component popup window) for every sweep as well as saving the component parameters when selected in the component properties popup window. You need to select save in the project layout. Please check the release note of OptiSystem 17.1 for more information.
Regards,
Ahmad
Thank you sir for your valuable suggestions…. It has been very helpful for export the entire layout data. However, How to select particular component parameters for each iteration. if possible kindly give the tutorial or link for the same. Thanks in advance.
Dear Kumar,
please make sure that you have OptiSystem version 17.1 to save results after each sweep iteration or at the end of calculation in a file for each layout. A scroll down option to choose between the two cases is available in the project layout properties popup window. you can save components results and selected components parameters as shown in the images attached.
There is a “ResultsData” directory in OptiSystem Example Library to allow saving the results into a file (Layout 1_ExportResults.dat). If the you do not install OptiSystem Example Library, then the saved results data file is placed at the default directory “ResultsData” located at the following link: C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\
Regards,
Ahmad
Thank you so much for your clarifications.
